I merged my two passions: technology and dancing. During his stay at the University of Kansas, I became the president of the Ballroom Dance Club, and taught partner dance in multiple styles throughout graduate school. In Austin he also taught dancing at a non-profit studio for several years. With Dance Virtual, I took the emerging VR technology and went on a journey of research and development for creating VR lessons. Our flagship virtual reality app, Salsa-Virtual, takes my dance teaching from the real world into a virtual classroom.
