This app is currently in exhibit at the SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity in Sacramento, California. “This tour gives students the ability to visit the hydro facilities using virtual reality. And, they are going to get excited to become the next generation of hydro engineers.”
Most utilities are unable to match their community outreach goals with accessibility and security of their facilities. Using virtual reality, our team created a tour of a hydroelectric plant and pushed their message of net zero goals for the future. Deployed in Quest 2 VR headsets for school visits, and modified graphic quality to match mobile VR.
