Because of Covid, very few people could go partner dancing. Including my company Dance-Virtual’s instructors, myself included. So we had to modify our motion capture dance moves to solo dance, to keep our staff safe.
Now gamers get to learn line dances in virtual reality! They can go through the basics in the comfort and convenience of their own home, and practice choreographies at their own pace and without stress. And then go hit the dance floor in the real world, or even fill the dance floor with virtual people!
