One of my tasks as Head of Research and Development in the Jicamarca Radio Observatory, was to get funding for potential projects to grow our digital design area. In the case of the Nano-satellite instrumentation development, I organized and reviews the proposed grant application for the project.
The nano-satellite project got awarded funding for $141K, for a total project budget of $202K.
A project spotlight was aired in TV Perú’s Umbrales on October 22nd 2015, a national TV program focused on technological research and development.
